Apple 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Apple in Suva: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.11 per 10 ml.
We run apple the same way in Suva: same 30 ml shortfill, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: apple in Suva works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple 30 ml shortfill really costs in Suva
Apple in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested apple in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where apple goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.11 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$2.11 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in Fiji?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
