Apple box mod IQOS in Suva: the price shortlist
Apple in Suva: 17 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Where buyers go wrong with apple in Fiji
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.2 per 10 ml.
Apple box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple box mod really costs in Suva
Apple sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested apple in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where apple goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised FJ$56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.2 per 10 ml.
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
