Apple prefilled pod IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Apple in Suva: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the apple habit
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.84 per 10 ml.
The honest read on apple: 24 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a apple prefilled pod really costs in Suva
If you are looking at apple in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested apple in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where apple goes wrong
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for apple in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
Is apple legal to sell in Fiji?
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
