Blackcurrant prefilled pod IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Blackcurrant in Suva: 17 units tested over 7 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Blackcurrant sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.47 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant prefilled pod really costs in Suva
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested blackcurrant in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for blackcurrant in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
