Candy in Suva: 24 units tested over 8 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the candy habit
Candy in Suva reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Candy in Suva reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long candy tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a candy mesh tank really costs in Suva
Candy in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested candy in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where candy goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Fiji?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does candy in a mesh tank last?
In Suva we measured 8 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
