Caramel box mod IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Caramel in Suva: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Caramel in Suva reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.23 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel box mod really costs in Suva
We run caramel the same way in Suva: same box mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested caramel in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Suva survives.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
How long does caramel in a box mod last?
In Suva we measured 4 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
