Caramel cartomizer IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist
Caramel in Suva: 19 units tested over 8 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the caramel habit
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.28 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: caramel in Suva works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a caramel cartomizer really costs in Suva
Caramel cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested caramel in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Suva survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
