How we tested Caramel squonk mod here
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.48 per 10 ml.
A caramel squonk mod from the discounted options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.48 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel squonk mod really costs in Suva
The honest read on caramel: 17 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested caramel in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
