Cherry RDA IQOS in Suva: the cheap shortlist
Cherry in Suva: 21 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What the label on Cherry is allowed to say
Cherry in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.41 per 10 ml.
The short version: cherry in Suva works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry RDA really costs in Suva
Cherry in Suva reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested cherry in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$3.41 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$68 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should cherry start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
