Cherry squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the compare shortlist
Cherry in Suva: 19 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.9 per 10 ml.
A cherry squonk mod from the compared options in Fiji costs about FJ$1.9 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cherry squonk mod really costs in Suva
The honest read on cherry: 19 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested cherry in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a cherry bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
