Home / Citrus box mod IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist

Choosing a box mod for citrus

Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.

There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.

If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a citrus box mod really costs in Suva

Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.73 per 10 ml.

How we tested citrus in a box mod

1. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
2. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
3. Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.

• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Fiji.
• Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
• Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.

Where citrus goes wrong

• Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
• Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
• Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

The rules that apply here

Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
