Citrus starter kit IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Citrus in Suva: 20 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the citrus habit
If you are looking at citrus in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on citrus: 20 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: citrus in Suva works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus starter kit really costs in Suva
Citrus starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested citrus in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
