Citrus vape pen IQOS in Suva: the cheap shortlist
Citrus in Suva: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the citrus habit
We run citrus the same way in Suva: same vape pen, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.63 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus vape pen really costs in Suva
The honest read on citrus: 7 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested citrus in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for citrus in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
