Coconut starter kit IQOS in Suva: the compare shortlist
Coconut in Suva: 10 units tested over 4 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the coconut habit
Coconut starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Coconut prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.58 per 10 ml.
The short version: coconut in Suva works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut starter kit really costs in Suva
The honest read on coconut: 10 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested coconut in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coconut tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised FJ$59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.58 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
