Coconut vape pen IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Coconut in Suva: 24 units tested over 6 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Choosing a vape pen for coconut
Coconut prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.64 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long coconut tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coconut vape pen really costs in Suva
We run coconut the same way in Suva: same vape pen, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested coconut in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$1.64 per 10 ml.
- Mixing coconut with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
