Coffee mesh tank IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Coffee in Suva: 11 units tested over 7 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Choosing a mesh tank for coffee
Coffee prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.0 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long coffee tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coffee mesh tank really costs in Suva
A coffee mesh tank from the reviewed options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.0 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested coffee in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coffee bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
