Coffee pen device IQOS in Suva: the order shortlist
Coffee in Suva: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
Coffee in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Coffee prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.61 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a coffee pen device really costs in Suva
Coffee in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested coffee in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coffee bottle shipped into Fiji.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$1.61 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing coffee with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for coffee in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should coffee start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$1.61 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
