Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
Coffee prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.66 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: coffee in Suva works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coffee RDA really costs in Suva
Coffee prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.66 per 10 ml.
How we tested coffee in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised FJ$52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$1.66 per 10 ml.
