How we tested Coffee squonk mod here
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long coffee tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coffee squonk mod really costs in Suva
The honest read on coffee: 21 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested coffee in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.37 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does coffee in a squonk mod last?
In Suva we measured 9 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in Fiji?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
