Dessert squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Dessert in Suva: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.32 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: dessert in Suva works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a dessert squonk mod really costs in Suva
A dessert squonk mod from the budget options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.32 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested dessert in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Treating the advertised FJ$33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.32 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long dessert in Suva survives.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should dessert start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How long does dessert in a squonk mod last?
In Suva we measured 2 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
