Fig 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Fig in Suva: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.62 per 10 ml.
We run fig the same way in Suva: same 30 ml shortfill, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: fig in Suva works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig 30 ml shortfill really costs in Suva
If you are looking at fig in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested fig in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where fig goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised FJ$40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$1.62 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
