Fig cartomizer IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist
Fig in Suva: 21 units tested over 4 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run fig the same way in Suva: same cartomizer, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A fig cartomizer from the discounted options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.38 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: fig in Suva works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig cartomizer really costs in Suva
The honest read on fig: 21 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested fig in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where fig goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Packaging for fig in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
