Fig pen device IQOS in Suva: the price shortlist
Fig in Suva: 11 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A fig pen device from the value options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.52 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Fig in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: fig in Suva works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig pen device really costs in Suva
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.52 per 10 ml.
How we tested fig in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where fig goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.52 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
