Fig in Suva: 17 units tested over 7 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Fig in Suva reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Fig in Suva reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a fig vape pen really costs in Suva
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.17 per 10 ml.
How we tested fig in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where fig goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised FJ$52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.17 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.

On the last run in Suva: about FJ$3.17 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$52 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On fig the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$3.17 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
