What a herbal cartomizer really costs in Suva
Herbal cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested herbal in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.56 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
How long does herbal in a cartomizer last?
In Suva we measured 5 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.56 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$39 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
