Honey prefilled pod IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Honey in Suva: 16 units tested over 7 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Choosing a prefilled pod for honey
The honest read on honey: 16 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Honey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.4 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long honey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a honey prefilled pod really costs in Suva
Ordering into Suva usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested honey in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where honey goes wrong
- Mixing honey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should honey start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
Why does honey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the honey blend itself harsh.
How long does honey in a prefilled pod last?
In Suva we measured 7 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
