Iced 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Iced in Suva: 23 units tested over 3 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What iced costs in Suva
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
We run iced the same way in Suva: same 30 ml shortfill, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced 30 ml shortfill really costs in Suva
Iced in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested iced in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
Where iced goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised FJ$35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.23 per 10 ml.
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
