Iced pen device IQOS in Suva: the online shortlist
Iced in Suva: 23 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Choosing a pen device for iced
We run iced the same way in Suva: same pen device, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at iced in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced pen device really costs in Suva
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.09 per 10 ml.
How we tested iced in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where iced goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in Suva survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for iced in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
