Licorice cartomizer IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Licorice in Suva: 23 units tested over 4 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good cartomizer from a repack
Licorice sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
A licorice cartomizer from the reviewed options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.83 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: licorice in Suva works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice cartomizer really costs in Suva
Licorice in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested licorice in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should licorice start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
Is licorice legal to sell in Fiji?
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
