Licorice starter kit IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Licorice in Suva: 11 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Where buyers go wrong with licorice in Fiji
Licorice starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice starter kit really costs in Suva
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.64 per 10 ml.
How we tested licorice in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why licorice tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
