Lime pen device IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Lime in Suva: 6 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Where buyers go wrong with lime in Fiji
A lime pen device from the budget options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.53 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Lime prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.53 per 10 ml.
The short version: lime in Suva works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime pen device really costs in Suva
Lime in Suva reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested lime in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where lime goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
