Melon pen device IQOS in Suva: the cheap shortlist
Melon in Suva: 10 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Choosing a pen device for melon
The honest read on melon: 10 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Ordering into Suva usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a melon pen device really costs in Suva
A melon pen device from the cheapest options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.44 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested melon in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where melon goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised FJ$36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.44 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
The rules that apply here
