The short version: melon in Suva works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon pod kit really costs in Suva
A melon pod kit from the reviewed options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.15 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested melon in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where melon goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised FJ$50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.15 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
