Mint box mod IQOS in Suva: the cheap shortlist
Mint in Suva: 13 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.85 per 10 ml.
Ordering into Suva usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: mint in Suva works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint box mod really costs in Suva
If you are looking at mint in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested mint in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where mint goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
