Mint box mod IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Mint in Suva: 20 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Choosing a box mod for mint
Mint box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Mint in Suva reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: mint in Suva works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint box mod really costs in Suva
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.77 per 10 ml.
How we tested mint in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where mint goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised FJ$49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$1.77 per 10 ml.
