Mint cartomizer IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Mint in Suva: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What mint costs in Suva
A mint cartomizer from the flat-rate options in Fiji costs about FJ$1.62 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The honest read on mint: 7 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint cartomizer really costs in Suva
We run mint the same way in Suva: same cartomizer, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mint in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where mint goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

On the last run in Suva: about FJ$1.62 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mint the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$1.62 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
