Mint cartomizer IQOS in Suva: the online shortlist
Mint in Suva: 7 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mint habit
A mint cartomizer from the online options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.82 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run mint the same way in Suva: same cartomizer, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested mint in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where mint goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Treating the advertised FJ$58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.82 per 10 ml.
