Mint pod kit IQOS in Suva: the order shortlist
Mint in Suva: 21 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What mint costs in Suva
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The honest read on mint: 21 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint pod kit really costs in Suva
We run mint the same way in Suva: same pod kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mint in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where mint goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Suva survives.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised FJ$45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.6 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for mint in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
