Mint RDA IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Mint in Suva: 20 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run mint the same way in Suva: same RDA, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A mint RDA from the budget options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.23 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: mint in Suva works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint RDA really costs in Suva
A mint RDA from the budget options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.23 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested mint in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Fiji.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where mint goes wrong
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Fiji?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
