Passionfruit 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Suva: the guide shortlist
Passionfruit in Suva: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the passionfruit habit
Passionfruit prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.94 per 10 ml.
Passionfruit sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: passionfruit in Suva works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a passionfruit 30 ml shortfill really costs in Suva
Passionfruit sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested passionfruit in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised FJ$49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.94 per 10 ml.
- Mixing passionfruit with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Packaging for passionfruit in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does passionfruit taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the passionfruit blend itself harsh.
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.94 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$49 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does passionfruit in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In Suva we measured 4 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
