Pear 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Pear in Suva: 16 units tested over 7 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Where buyers go wrong with pear in Fiji
The honest read on pear: 16 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear 30 ml shortfill really costs in Suva
Ordering into Suva usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested pear in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where pear goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.09 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$58 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does pear in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In Suva we measured 7 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
