Pear cartomizer IQOS in Suva: the cheap shortlist
Pear in Suva: 16 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.54 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: pear in Suva works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear cartomizer really costs in Suva
The honest read on pear: 16 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
