Pear mesh tank IQOS in Suva: the compare shortlist
Pear in Suva: 15 units tested over 7 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good mesh tank from a repack
We run pear the same way in Suva: same mesh tank, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Pear in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear mesh tank really costs in Suva
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.3 per 10 ml.
How we tested pear in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for pear in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
