Pear mesh tank IQOS in Suva: the guide shortlist
Pear in Suva: 12 units tested over 7 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What pear costs in Suva
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.17 per 10 ml.
The short version: pear in Suva works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear mesh tank really costs in Suva
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested pear in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where pear goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Suva survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
