Pear pen device IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Pear in Suva: 13 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How we tested Pear pen device here
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.8 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear pen device really costs in Suva
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested pear in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for pear in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions

Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$1.8 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
