Pear pen device IQOS in Suva: the cheap shortlist
Pear in Suva: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How we tested Pear pen device here
Pear in Suva reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The honest read on pear: 12 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: pear in Suva works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear pen device really costs in Suva
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested pear in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where pear goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is pear legal to sell in Fiji?
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$1.78 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
