Plain cartomizer IQOS in Suva: the cheap shortlist
Plain in Suva: 6 units tested over 7 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Plain in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain cartomizer really costs in Suva
Plain in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plain in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plain goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Suva survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$3.52 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
