Plain cartomizer IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Plain in Suva: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What the label on Plain is allowed to say
A plain cartomizer from the flat-rate options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.81 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain cartomizer really costs in Suva
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.81 per 10 ml.
How we tested plain in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
