Plain mesh tank IQOS in Suva: the order shortlist
Plain in Suva: 18 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good mesh tank from a repack
A plain mesh tank from the pre-order options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.37 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run plain the same way in Suva: same mesh tank, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain mesh tank really costs in Suva
Plain in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plain in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does plain in a mesh tank last?
In Suva we measured 6 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$3.37 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
