Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.93 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at plain in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: plain in Suva works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain nicotine salt bottle really costs in Suva
A plain nicotine salt bottle from the online options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.93 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a nicotine salt bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plain goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised FJ$32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.93 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Suva survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for plain in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
